KC Conservatory GuideThe information we needThis guide is used by ourselves during our initial visit. It ensures that the conservatory ordered is exactly the one required, and requested by you, the customer. It is reproduced here to give you an understanding of the process. Building Regulations Generally conservatories are exempt from Building Regulation approval provided the floor area does not exceed 30m squared but Local Authority rulings do affect the permeable area occasionally. Regulation B4 requires external walls and roofs of a building to resist the spread of fire from one building to another with regard to height, use and position of the building.
